Monthly Pre-Release Compilation
CD
The Whitenoise Pre Release Compilation
CD is mailed to a select group of tastemaker DJs and
a limited number of subscribers from the Whitenoise
mailing list each month.
The CD’s include pre release
tracks promoted exclusively by Whitenoise as well
as other ‘hot’ forthcoming tracks from
artists and labels across the globe. Also included
are exclusive tracks and never to be released material,
plus selected album tracks.
The CD comes in two parts every
month:
CD 1 is Nu Jazz / Funk / Disco
/ Broken Beats / Hip Hop / Leftfield / Drum and
Bass
CD 2 will include Underground
House / Techno / Electro / Breaks & everything
in between.
It is free for labels to include
a track on the CD, royalties are paid to all of the
artists that appear on the CD through MCPS.
On it's own this method of promotion
is not as effective as a traditional vinyl mailout
to Specialist Radio and club DJs. However, it certainly
helps to generate exposure for forthcoming singles
or albums at no extra cost to the labels.

The CD is mailed during
the first week of every month.
Release dates of tracks
put forward for inclusion must be at least 2 weeks
from the date when the CD is to be mailed.
The Deadline for inclusion
is the end of the first week of each preceding month.
